What an evening!

After all the summer heat, then the rain from last week, I'm sure you were getting antsy to ride, eh?

Yeah, us too!

However, if you were lucky enough to enjoy the nice cool open air yesterday, please be considerate and try NOT to brag to those around you who don't own a scooter or motorcycle. Its a known fact that they're jealous of you anyway; no need to alienate them.

Looks like we'll have another nice day today, tomorrow, and hopefully Saturday with a small chance of drizzle on Sunday.

See you on the roads!

Addressing concerns about visibility

Yowch! My EYES!!!

Or better yet,

I didn't know what to title this post, regardless, for those who've called in and sent emails regarding ways to add visibility to their scoots, I have a suggestion.

It's a common mistake to think that the color of your scooter alone is a factor in the equation of how well you're seen on the road. While it is a variable, its not the only one, heck, it may not even be the biggest one. Arguably, the biggest way for one to increase their own visibilty on the road is to dress themselves in more visible attire. Whether that be a pink helmet or liberty spikes, you have to remember that while you want other drivers to notice your bike on the street, you also want folks to see YOU!

The above pic is of the MIL SPEC vest from Icon. It comes in that nuclear green color you see above and a slightly (meaning, not really...) calmer construction orange with bright reflective piping all over. It meets the specifications for riders that happen to be in the military, and you won't believe how much more visible you are if caught in a rainstorm. To put it plainly: you are the additive-inverse of invisible. Comes with a few pockets, and can be ordered big enough to fit over your favorite riding jacket or scoot gear. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! est. $45 :D

We have access to the Icon gear now, but we're still experimenting with what our customers (thats you!) need. Send us some email if you're interested and we'll get this baby in for you!

Happy Motoring and stay VISIBLE!

Rally this weekend!!

We've been doing our best to keep everyone informed, but if we've missed you somehow, here's your chance to get caught up and be 'in the know.' Has the info you're looking for regarding the ONLY fun you should be having this Labor Day weekend!

For those two lazy to click the link, the mayhem includes a Friday meet-n-greet-n-eat (no, we're not eating you, actual food) @ Grinders downtown for a little First Friday action. After absorbing the culture that you didn't know your own city had to offer, you can accompany us on Saturday for a ride around town, a bunch of Arthur Bryant's, and a satisfying, calorie burning ride to Westin, Mo. Sunday involves some brunch and of course, the Greaserama!!

Now that your appetite has been whet, click that link for more specific details or email Jason if you like bothering people :P

Shiny side up!
